I am giving this place a 5 because it was just what we had been looking for, after a week of paying high prices all over South Tahoe for mediocre food and service. We were just looking for good authentic Mexican food (we are from SoCal) and a pitcher of Margaritas. We found this spot on the way back from Fallen Lead Lake and kept our fingers crossed. Like I said, it was just what we had been looking for. We ordered BRC burritos, fish tacos, red beef enchiladas and margaritas. It was absolutely authentic. Just good Mexican food, nothing fancy or weird! Service was great!!! Prices were the same as everywhere else so we are happy to pay!!! Definitely stop here if you looking for good Mexican food and margaritas (they have pitchers of margaritas too!)

Really great food and service! The kind of food I crave when they are closed, sunday and monday, so we have to go on tuesday!!! I have had avout everythng on the menu and love it aqll, jut based on what i am hunfry for t the time the tqaco salad with cucumber and tomtoes and avocado slices is a favorite: I love it with hrimp or hrdded beef but also great with chicken and chile verde! O like to dump it out of the taco shell bowl and then put the dressing on the lettuce mix it up and add the taqco shell pieces like croutons! never disappoints! I have a love for their rice nd beans and you cannot go wrong with the 2 item combo, chimichng nd tostada for me!!! Their shrimp cocktqail is. meal for two! i like it with the abalone!!!! the mariposa margarita is my faorite, it turns purple nd tastes sweet, i like the lime sweet kick! GREAT iced tea and mexican coke in the bottle!!!! plan your dining as this is a gret late lunch early dinner 3-5pm we alwasy get a tqable, come after 5 and your wait can be long as they only have 14 indoor tables during winter but if your party is small the baar seqting is ample!
